Brief History Of Ho Chun
Ho Chun started out as Hop Sing in the early 1960's after Gene Chicoine learned Chinese martial arts. He originally learned martial arts in Okinawa while in the Army. In the 1980's He met Chang Tung-Sheng in Taiwan and started learning Shuai Chiao, pronounced "Swy Jow". Master Chang suggested changing the name to Ho Chun, roughly translated to "Open To The World".
